About the Role

Chevron Stations Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Cashier. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting and thanking customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Cash Handling: Count and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift, maintain accurate records, and follow company cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including the indoor and outdoor facilities, restrooms, islands, pumps, and car wash (if applicable).
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve food and hot beverage products, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized food service area.
  • Marketing and Sales: Promote store specials and other marketing programs, cross-check prices, and distribute delivered goods in an orderly manner.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including observing local law requirements for fueling vehicles.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Availability: Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California, Oregon, or Washington locations, and at least 21 years of age or older to work the Graveyard shift.
  • Shift Differential: Eligible for a $1.25 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 10 pm to 6 am.
