Field Service Technician I

HOLT CAT is actively seeking a Field Service Technician I to deliver on-site customer support at various locations. The Field Service Technician I plays a crucial role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing a range of light and heavy construction machinery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment for mechanical repairs

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience with heavy equipment is essential
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Driver's license
  • Ability to acquire a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Physical Demands:

  • Capable of lifting and moving objects, utilizing abdominal and lower back muscles for support
  • Frequently handles materials or equipment weighing up to 80 lbs
  • Requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and physical endurance

Work Conditions:

  • Regularly operates outdoors in proximity to moving mechanical components
  • May encounter various weather conditions
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights
