Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality, one-on-one care to patients in their homes, working closely with our patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage individualized care plans for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
