Private Duty Nurse RN-Full Time/Part Time Nights

Job Summary:
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our patients in the San Antonio, TX area. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their health goals.
Responsibilities:- Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and progress.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
