The salary for this position is estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include travel to and from your assigned vessel, room and board, uniforms, and paid training from industry experts. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to produce diversified meals for our guests based on fresh ingredients. You should be able to work around 14 hours per day and have experience cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Familiarity with food safety standards is also essential. Your goal will be to utilize the ingredients provided to create a unique array of delicious dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to produce diversified meals for our guests.
- Organize workload in the kitchen to ensure efficient processes.
- Produce high-quality dishes that follow established menu choices.
- Adhere to guests' dietary requests.
- Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during work hours.
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in full-service resort, hotel, country club, or full-service restaurant.
- Familiarity with food safety standards.
- Ability to work around 14 hours per day.
