Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the observation and documentation of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and organize the observation and documentation of construction projects.
- Schedule and coordinate observation of ongoing work and testing and sampling of materials.
- Assign, lead, and supervise internal staff engaged in observation and testing and in related record keeping.
- Monitor contractor's progress against schedule and prepare progress reports.
- Review payment requests and determine amount owing to contractor(s) based on onsite observations and contract stipulations.
- Oversee compilation of final estimate documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field plus seven years related experience, including personnel supervision.
- Leadership and managerial skills; analytical and organization skills; ability to supervise field representatives and field office personnel.
- Professional Registration desired.

- Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, stoop, squat, and crawl down into ditches; ability to observe construction activities and distinguish colors and ability to perceive back-up alarms and other warnings.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions, subject to insects, flooded terrain, and equipment/traffic hazards.
- Job also requires ability to process paper and electronic documents and utilize computer.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Job also requires ability to plan and prioritize tasks, and review contract documents, project plans, and progress reports.
- If position requires driving company vehicle, incumbent must have valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy.

Expected compensation range is between $101,419 - $169,031 depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
