Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach courses in the Dental Hygiene program at Lansing Community College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene education and experience in teaching clinical and didactic courses.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the Dental Hygiene program, including clinical and didactic courses
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives and committees
  • Stay current with developments in dental hygiene education and practice
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of Michigan
  • Experience teaching dental hygiene courses, preferably in a community college setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field
  • Experience teaching online courses
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment
  • Knowledge of dental hygiene education and practice trends
