Job Overview

Position Summary: We are in search of an Aircraft Interior Technician I to assist with the removal, installation, and fabrication of aircraft interiors.

  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
  • Experience in application installation, fabrication, or a related field, or completion of trade school is preferred
  • Flexibility to work any shift is required
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in confined spaces, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds is essential
  • Proficiency in computer usage is necessary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the removal, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors including galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, and doors
  • Collaborate with supervisors and inspection teams to ensure adherence to Repair Station protocols and FAA documentation
  • Fulfill specific fitting and installation tasks according to work order guidelines and specifications
  • Utilize the material tracking system for parts demand creation, issue tracking, and documentation sign-offs
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures while operating tools such as hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes
  • Ensure proper maintenance of shop equipment and tools
  • Follow safety regulations and utilize personal protective equipment as required

Compensation: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
