Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager to join our team at American Communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff to ensure that all upkeep and repair work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and running smoothly.
  • Manage and control budgets for maintenance and repairs, ensuring that all expenses are properly accounted for.
  • Collaborate with the Asset Manager to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; EPA Freon Certified (type 1 and 2 or Universal) preferred.
  • 4-6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
