Job Title:
Electromechanical Systems Specialist
This position involves supporting the manufacturing of advanced electronics and subsystems for cutting-edge satellite programs. The successful candidate will work primarily on the assembly of Ground System Equipment, prototype unit manufacture, and maintenance of lab equipment.
The role offers ample opportunity for growth as you expand your skillset and become more familiar with the company's products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble CCA surface mount SMT soldering 0402 and larger components (ICs, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, sockets)
- Perform installation, soldering, and inspection operations under a microscope and other magnifying devices
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment through compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations
- Conduct visual and functional inspections of completed assemblies to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Use various hand and power tools, such as crimpers, soldering irons, and wire strippers
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any assembly or design issues

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
