Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents, following defined policies and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with other nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in continuing education and inservice programs to maintain a high level of knowledge and clinical expertise.
- Provide care to geriatric residents, utilizing your skills and experience to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Successful completion of a Practical Nursing Program.
- Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
- BLS certification through the RQI system.
- Long-term care experience and charge nurse experience preferred.
