Senior Configuration Management Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at McLaughlin Research Corporation. As a key member of our Program Office, you will be responsible for leading configuration management activities and ensuring that all engineering teams adhere to established processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document configuration and data management processes
  • Assist leadership in ensuring that configuration management processes are followed by engineering teams
  • Establish configuration identification, functional, allocated, and product baselines
  • Assist with configuration control, status accounting, and physical configuration audits
  • Maintain configuration management procedures
  • Review technical documentation
  • Evaluate proposed product design changes to determine impact on overall system
  • Conduct formal and informal reviews to ensure quality control
  • Implement directives and schedules to ensure effective system management
  • Respond to data calls
  • Develop, update, and maintain program of record documentation
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working with CMPro CM software tool
  • Experience supporting and facilitating Configuration Control Boards
  • Experience with reading, reviewing, and interpreting engineering and design drawings
  • Very good written and verbal communication, along with effective time management skills
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of experience working in a Configuration Management role
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
