Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Program Development Specialist to join our team at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As a key member of our Education Program team, you will be responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of strategic program initiatives, objectives, and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all administrative aspects of the Masters of Applied Neuroscience program, including admissions and recruiting.
  • Oversee the Certificate in Neuroscience Program, T32 Training Grant Management, and Strategic Planning Programming.
  • Design and implement program evaluation tools and develop data tracking tools to report program outcome data.
  • Participate in the preparation of training grant submissions.
  • Apply industry knowledge and advanced understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects.
  • Develop new practices, processes, metrics, or models.
  • Work on or lead highly complex projects of large scope and provide solutions that may set precedent.
  • Independently determine methods for completion of new projects and receive guidance on overall project objectives.
  • May provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Convey difficult, complex, or sensitive information and facilitate productive dialogue.
  • Persuade others to consider different options.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6 years of relevant experience required; 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in program implementation, planning, and administration required.
  • Experience in curriculum and organizational assessment and evaluation desired.
  • Computer literacy with demonstrated experience with Student Information System (SIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) desired.
