Job Summary:

Clinical Care Specialists in our team collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This involves utilizing evidence-based practices, demonstrating accountability, respect for patients, families, and colleagues, and promoting safe and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promoting continuity of care by effective communication with the interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate
  • Directing the work of support staff in providing care
  • Performing general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited RN program; a BSN is preferred
  • Current registration and licensure in the state of Iowa as an RN, with good standing with the Board of Nursing
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification, obtained within three months after hire date
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Nursing experience in an acute care setting is preferred
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Highly empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness towards others
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively as a member of a team
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment
  • Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to acute care
Work Schedule:

This position requires working 7pm-7am shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience
