Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on forklifts, lifts, tractors, trailers, and other material-handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure units and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
- Replace worn or defective parts, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, tires, and other components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance procedures comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site repairs as needed.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
- Provide training to operators on proper forklift usage and basic maintenance tasks.
- Three to five (5) years' experience working with forklift and industrial equipment.
- Three to five (5) years' experience working on heavy-duty tractors and trailers.
- Previous experience working on boom lifts and scissor lifts.
- Commercial Class B or higher driver's license a plus.
- OEM computer knowledge for diagnostics a plus.
- Completed ASEs a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess damage and determine repair methods.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software, as well as hand and power tools.
- Detailed-oriented to ensure thorough inspections and repairs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work safely around heavy machinery.
- Able to travel to offsite Airforce base every quarter to perform Preventive maintenance and inspections.
- $31-$35/hourly depending on skills and qualifications.
- Full-Time Position.
