Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on forklifts, lifts, tractors, trailers, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure units and equipment are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Replace worn or defective parts, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, tires, and other components.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance procedures comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site repairs as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
  • Provide training to operators on proper forklift usage and basic maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
  • Three to five (5) years' experience working with forklift and industrial equipment.
  • Three to five (5) years' experience working on heavy-duty tractors and trailers.
  • Previous experience working on boom lifts and scissor lifts.
  • Commercial Class B or higher driver's license a plus.
  • OEM computer knowledge for diagnostics a plus.
  • Completed ASEs a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to assess damage and determine repair methods.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software, as well as hand and power tools.
  • Detailed-oriented to ensure thorough inspections and repairs.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work safely around heavy machinery.
  • Able to travel to offsite Airforce base every quarter to perform Preventive maintenance and inspections.
Benefits:
  • $31-$35/hourly depending on skills and qualifications.
  • Full-Time Position.
