About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join our team as Program Director for our established program.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Hospice and Palliative Medicine program
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for our hospice and palliative care services
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and apply this knowledge to improve our program
Requirements
  • Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Minimum of two years of prior clinical practice of hospice and palliative medicine
  • Record of involvement in education and scholarly activities, including mentoring fellows and developing curricula
  • Prior academic leadership appointments and experience in ACGME programs ideal
  • Clinical duties focused primarily on outpatient hospice and palliative care
  • Manage two fellows per year
