Magnet Medical is a leading healthcare provider seeking a skilled critical care nurse for a 13-week assignment in Lewes, Delaware.
Compensation and BenefitsThe pay package for this position is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. The tax-free stipend amount will be determined upon confirmation. Please note that the salary details are subject to verification.
Job DescriptionAs a critical care nurse with Magnet Medical, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care using evidence-based practices and guidelines set by the healthcare facility. Your primary duties will include:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, including physical and emotional needs.
- Developing Care Plans: Create individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Your expertise will enable you to provide exceptional care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- RN License: Hold an active unrestricted RN license in the state.
- Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited RN program and have previous work experience as an RN.
Your strong foundation in critical care nursing and excellent communication skills will make you an ideal candidate for this position.

- Frequent Lifting and Bending: Regularly lift objects up to 80 pounds and engage in frequent bending and reaching.
- Standing and Walking: Spend extended periods standing and walking, potentially exceeding 2-5 hours at a time.
- Exposure to Chemicals and Infectious Diseases: May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases, waste, or blood-borne pathogens.
