Job Overview

This position is responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients requiring specialized skills in intermediate care nursing. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for directing the healthcare team and ensuring that patient needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Evaluate test results and assess patient safety factors.
  • Collect and process blood/urine specimens as ordered by physicians.
  • Document patient assessments accurately and correctly within the specified time at admission, transfer, and discharge.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care setting preferred.
  • Point of Care Testing training required.

Credentials:

  • RN - Registered Nurse.
  • BLS - Basic Life Saving certification.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
  • NIH - Stroke Certification.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary range for this position is $36.20 - $59.73 per hour, based on location and experience.
