Position Overview

Join Hawks Cay Resort, a premier destination in the hospitality industry, as we seek a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Leisure Sales. This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located in the US-Eastern region, ensuring accessibility for travel to our esteemed resorts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with travel specialists in the Luxury and Leisure sectors to promote Hawks Cay Resort and its sister properties as the top choices for discerning travelers.
  • Generate business through retail travel agencies, tour operators, online travel platforms, and consortia markets for our distinguished resorts.
  • Enhance market share in the Leisure and Luxury Transient segments through proactive sales efforts, including regular outreach, client entertainment, and participation in industry events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while actively seeking new group sales opportunities to surpass revenue targets.

Job Duties:

  • Proactively solicit new and existing accounts through various channels, including phone outreach and in-person meetings.
  • Welcome and engage VIP clients from travel specialists.
  • Participate actively in Luxury industry associations to expand professional networks.
  • Implement strategies to boost suite and upgrade room sales.
  • Conduct site visits for Luxury Leisure clients to showcase our offerings.
  • Maximize revenue by effectively communicating the full range of services and amenities available at the resort.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of customer interactions and coordinate with various departments to deliver exceptional service.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Organize client entertainment and prepare relevant materials to support business development efforts.
  • Communicate clearly with all hotel departments to maintain high service standards.
  • Engage in daily business reviews and participate in training and sales meetings as required.
  • Attend trade shows and community events to foster market growth.
  • Stay informed about competitive offerings and key customers in the market.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and accountability in a remote work setting.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned.
  • Consistently exceed established revenue and solicitation goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in the Leisure Sales sector of the hospitality industry.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.
  • Established relationships within the Luxury Leisure Travel community.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in hotels, TMCs, or consortia focused on the Luxury Leisure segment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Advanced sales skills with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable strategies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, plan effectively, and delegate responsibilities as needed.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to collective goals.
  • Professional demeanor suitable for the luxury market.
  • Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
