Position Overview

Join the dynamic team at Hawks Cay Resort, a premier destination in the hospitality industry. We are in search of a passionate and results-oriented Director of Leisure Sales who embodies vision and dedication. This role is designed for an energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a forward-thinking mindset.

Although this is a remote role, the ideal candidate should ideally be located in the US-Eastern region, ensuring convenient access to our esteemed resorts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with travel specialists in the Luxury and Leisure sectors to position Hawks Cay Resort, Equinox Golf Resort & Spa, and Sanderling Resort as the top choices for discerning travelers.
  • Drive business growth by engaging with retail travel agencies, tour operators, and online travel platforms, focusing on the Leisure and Luxury Transient market segments.
  • Conduct regular sales outreach, including calls, site visits, and client entertainment, to foster relationships and secure bookings.
  • Manage existing accounts to ensure guest satisfaction while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to exceed revenue targets and enhance market share.

Job Duties:

  • Proactively reach out to potential and existing clients through various communication methods to achieve sales goals.
  • Engage with VIP clients and represent the company at industry events and associations.
  • Enhance suite and upgrade room sales through strategic initiatives.
  • Organize and execute site visits for Luxury Leisure clients to showcase our offerings.
  • Maximize revenue by effectively communicating the benefits of our resorts to clients.
  • Ensure all client interactions are documented and coordinated across departments for seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Maintain clear communication with all departments to uphold high service standards.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and strategies.
  • Attend trade shows and community events to expand market presence and gather competitive insights.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and accountability in a remote work setting.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain a consistent work schedule.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.
  • Achieve and surpass pre-defined revenue and solicitation goals.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Proven experience in the Leisure Sales sector of the hospitality industry. Familiarity with remote work environments. Established relationships within the Luxury Leisure Travel community. 2-5 years of sales experience in hotels, travel management companies, or consortia focused on the Luxury Leisure market. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English. Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality management software. Advanced sales skills with the ability to analyze market trends and develop action plans. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate. Professional demeanor reflective of the luxury market. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
