Job Description

Are you a customer-focused individual with a passion for sales and marketing? Do you enjoy working with the public and building strong relationships? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you as a Sales and Marketing Representative with Mayra Quaas - State Farm Agent.

As a Sales and Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for establishing customer relationships, following up with customers as needed, and using a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. You will also be responsible for developing leads, scheduling appointments, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate products and services.

As an Agent Team Member, you will receive a competitive hourly pay plus commission/bonus, health and dental insurance, paid time off, and growth potential/Opportunity for advancement within our agency. Requirements include an interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs, excellent communication skills, people-oriented, detail-oriented, proactive in problem solving, able to learn computer functions, and ability to work in a team environment. Additionally, you must be able to obtain a Property and Casualty license and a Life and Health license. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. By accepting this position, you are not guaranteed an agency position with State Farm Insurance Companies. As an agent team member, you will still need to go through the regular State Farm agent selection process when you are ready to pursue an agency opportunity. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents employees are not employees of State Farm.

Responsibilities
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
