Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary clinic, you will work closely with families to deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards. Your expertise will be essential in implementing intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality ABA Therapy Sessions: Provide individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6, adhering to the profession's rigorous standards.
- Implement Intervention Plans: Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.
- Build Rapport with Families: Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework.
- Participate in Continuous Training: Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification.
- Education and Certification: Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields. Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training).
- Experience and Skills: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive. Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Competitive Compensation: Competitive compensation ranging from $20.50 to $26.00 per hour, with regular bonus and promotion opportunities.
