Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will work with children aged 2-6, delivering individualized ABA therapy sessions in our clinic. You will implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles.

You will build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework. You will also participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6 in our clinic
  • Implement intervention plans developed by our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development
Qualifications
  • Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center
  • Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
