Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, promoting independence and improving their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Implement physician-prescribed plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with healthcare teams
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide health education and training to patients and their families
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from Case Manager
- Follow up with physicians, patients, families, and Case Managers on patient concerns and changes in condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
- Reliable transportation
