Part-Time Case Support Specialist, HomeBase Staten Island

The Case Support Specialist will work under general supervision to ensure the smooth running and coordination of all operational issues and obligations related to housing unit reviews. This includes coordinating and scheduling home visits, conducting thorough and accurate housing walkthroughs, and documenting findings on the appropriate review checklist.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule home visits to maximize efficiency.
- Conduct thorough and accurate housing walkthroughs, documenting findings on the review checklist.
- Contact prospective clients and schedule appointments.
- Create electronic and paper files as needed.
- Inform Supervisor immediately of any health and safety issues observed during the walkthrough.
- Participate in case conferences with Case Managers as necessary.
- Assist Case Managers with pre-clearance requests and follow up on repair or other issues revealed during the walkthrough.
- Serve as a courier for programmatic needs.
- Participate in administrative and staff meetings as requested.
- Provide all required information for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports to CAMBA management and/or to funders.
- May escort clients to necessary appointments to ensure rent payments, active benefits, and entitlement.
- May conduct program outreach as needed.
High school diploma or G.E.D. and/or equivalent experience.
Compensation: $25 per hour. Status: Part-time (25 hours per week).
