Position Summary: The Automotive Attendant is responsible for the management and upkeep of vehicles within the dealership. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining an orderly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely relocates vehicles within the dealership premises.
- Delivers vehicles to clients in a timely manner.
- Ensures the vehicle lot is clean and well-organized.
- Completes various errands as needed to support dealership operations.
- Maintains customer satisfaction index (CSI) at or above company standards.
- Keeps work areas organized, clean, and safe.
- Participates in mandatory training sessions.
- Accurately records hours worked in the company timekeeping system.
- Adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
- Exhibits the core values of the company in all interactions.
- Observes all relevant safety guidelines while performing duties.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Up to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Licenses: A valid driver's license is required.
- Skills: Basic computer skills for timekeeping purposes.
- Communication: Ability to effectively understand and follow instructions, as well as communicate with customers and staff.
Physical Requirements:
The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and involves frequent movement around the dealership and outdoor areas. Regular interaction with vehicles is expected.
Work Environment:
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various environmental conditions. The role involves interaction with employees from different departments and occasional contact with customers.
