Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist in our Rehabilitation Department practices within the scope of care defined in the Georgia State Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act. Our ideal candidate will plan, implement, and evaluate SLP intervention to inpatients and outpatients upon consultation with a physician to promote maximal functional outcomes for patients. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical competency in at least one area of practice and a satisfactory level of competency in administration/supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the delivery of service for specialty area
  • Treat all clients referred to the Speech Therapy Department at Grady and Crestview
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program with Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience
  • At least one year of experience in a teaching hospital preferred
  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Georgia
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
