About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team at Salt Wood Kitchen & Oysterette. As a Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils
  • Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Stock supplies and ingredients in serving stations and storage areas
  • Perform food preparation tasks as needed
  • Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent training
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
