Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the security and integrity of cash handling processes, including the counting and reconciliation of cash, coins, and chips.
  • Process all casino deposits, including cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Monitor and reconcile all coin vault transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate transactions between cashiers and the main bank, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing.
  • Function as a window cashier as needed, providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of exchanges and transactions, including cash, coins, and chips.
  • Ensure procedures and proper controls are followed to protect counted receipts, maintaining the highest level of security and integrity.
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels, balancing kiosks for a specific shift, and communicating status of fluctuating cash levels to management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of prior work experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Previous money handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and manuals.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from guests.

Working Conditions

  • This is a smoking environment in guest areas and a non-smoking, with the exception of designated areas, employee environment.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 pounds, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas, including confined spaces.
