Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of Grocery Department staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales, margin, and customer service goals.
    • Monitor and control department expenses to ensure budget compliance.
  • Merchandising and Inventory
    • Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
    • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
    • Monitor and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.
    • Monitor and address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage department budgets and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve department profitability and efficiency.
    • Monitor and control department expenses to ensure budget compliance.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled and motivated Grocery Department staff.
    • Develop and implement effective performance management and evaluation processes.
    • Monitor and address employee concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations
    • Ensure compliance with all store policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve store operations and efficiency.
    • Monitor and address store maintenance and repair issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Grocery Department management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Compensation

$23-$25 per hour.
