Under the general supervision of school administration, this role is pivotal in fostering an educational atmosphere that promotes and supports learning for every student. The instructor will oversee students in various educational settings, assess and track student performance, design, select, or adapt lesson plans to meet diverse student needs, and adhere to all relevant educational policies and procedures. The position entails delivering high-quality, standards-aligned instruction in Business Education and Information Technology, while evaluating and encouraging student progress to create an effective learning environment that maximizes student success.

Key Responsibilities:


•Design, implement, and instruct a competency-based CTE program focused on Business Education and Information Technology.


•Preferred foundational knowledge in coding languages such as Java, Python, SQL, or block-based coding (e.g., SNAP/Scratch).


•Basic understanding of IT troubleshooting principles, along with PC hardware and software.


•Ability to leverage online industry resources, such as Microsoft Imagine Academy or CompTIA, to provide students with certification opportunities across various IT fields.


•Exhibit effective management skills in both classroom and computer lab settings.


•Support the coordination of CTE Student Organization events for local, regional, state, and/or national competitions.


•Participate in educational excursions to post-secondary institutions, workplaces, and hands-on workshops.


•Contribute to the development and execution of initiatives aimed at enhancing a progressive business and technology curriculum.


•Cultivate partnerships with community and industry stakeholders for student engagement.
