Job Summary:

Staffmark Group is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in the Bulls Gap, TN area. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling products in a team-based environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a phenomenal company specializing in outdoor residential products.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble products using hand and power tools
  • Utilize in-line assembly equipment, including scales, strappers, wrappers, and labelers
  • Create packaging to specifications
  • Perform quality checks
  • Complete production paperwork
  • Meet production rate requirements of in-line kitting cells
  • Report maintenance or troubleshooting problems to the supervisor

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated safe work habits
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to stand for 12 hours
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
