About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Roeslein & Associates. As a key member of our machine shop operations, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to complete complex machining tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets to set up and operate standard types of machines, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and other precision equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all machined parts meet quality standards and are free from defects.
  • Assistance and Training: Assist less experienced machinists and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Shop Math and Blueprint Reading: Possess a working knowledge of shop math and be able to read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets.
  • Measuring Instruments: Be capable of using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of 2-year technical school training preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on shop experience required; 2-5 years preferred.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of shop math, ability to read blueprints, and understanding of operation sheets.
