Role Overview
Community Hospital East offers a remarkable opportunity within our primary Operating Room. The Surgical Services Technologist will be tasked with scrubbing for various surgical procedures, assisting surgeons, and anticipating their needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in sterile and aseptic techniques.
Qualifications and Skills
- Associate's degree in Surgical Technology from a CAAHEP accredited program is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting is preferred.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks effectively with a high level of responsibility.
- Self-motivated and able to take direction well.
