We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Critical Care Unit (NICCU), a level IV neonatal intensive care unit that features 58 beds and serves as an international referral center.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' experience as a Level III NICCU RN, with Level IV NICCU experience preferred. Broad knowledge of patient care principles and equipment, as well as CHLA patient care policies and procedures, is required.

The successful candidate will be able to assess the effectiveness of patient care, maintain a calm demeanor in crises and emergencies, and prioritize tasks for complex patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

As a Registered Nurse at CHLA, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $89,000 to $154,284, as well as a robust benefits program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and participate in the development of the plan of care

  • Follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment

Requirements:

  • ADN or BSN required
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
  • Current American Heart Association CPR, American Heart Association PALS, and NRP certifications
