  • Data Entry and Processing
    • Accurately key, correct, and balance image captured items of over-the-counter teller transactions and internal transactions.
    • Process incoming check files received electronically from corresponding banks.
    • Prepare transaction correction records as needed.
    • Reconcile totals for end-of-day electronic file processing.
  • Transactional Services
    • Process ACH files, returns, and error resolutions.
    • Verify, import, and export wires.
    • Process exception items, including NSF, stop payments, unposted transactions, and large item review.
    • Handle check posting adjustments and other deposit account issues.
    • Process Canadian and foreign check transactions.
    • Review mobile deposit transactions.
    • Process lock box transactions.
  • ATM Debit Card Services
    • Process new card orders.
    • Maintain existing cards.
    • Resolve errors and issues.
  • Time Deposits
    • Verify, monitor, and maintain certificates of deposit.
  • Reports and Documents
    • Review and archive reports and documents related to account activity, maintenance, and internal controls.
  • Account Maintenance
    • Process stop payments, name and address changes, title changes, account type changes, and dormant account updates.
  • Mail Services
    • Sort interoffice mail and documents.
    • Distribute incoming bank mail to various departments.
    • Operate the mail machine for outgoing bank mail.
    • Operate the folder/inserter for folding and inserting outgoing bank notices and letters into envelopes.
  • Miscellaneous Responsibilities
    • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly internal bank account reconciliations.
    • Handle IRS tax levies.
    • Manage overdraft protection programs and reminder letters.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of one year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
