About the Opportunity
This role will allow you to lead the small animal clinic, providing expert care to patients and mentoring students in their clinical development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of veterinary medicine through research, focusing on areas of interest that align with your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the small animal clinic, overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical services to the community.
  • Develop and implement research projects that enhance the field of veterinary surgery, collaborating with colleagues from various departments.
  • Mentor junior faculty members and students, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to excel in their roles.
  • Participate in institutional committees, teaching seminars, and conducting research that advances the field of veterinary medicine.

Requirements:
  • DVM or equivalent degree required; experience working in a clinical setting with surgery as a primary focus is essential.
  • Board certification by ACVS or ECVS, or eligibility for certification.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a teaching environment.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Relocation assistance will be provided by the organization if needed.
