Job Description
Texas Health Care PLLC seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts/Receivable Specialist RCM to support our Revenue Cycle Management team. This role offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic environment.

About the Job
As an Accounts/Receivable Specialist RCM, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, conducting research and analysis, preparing and maintaining reports, interacting with customers, and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Your duties will include collaborating with colleagues, vendors, and management to ensure business needs are met, providing RCM support to physicians and care center staff, and performing complex appeals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and management to ensure business needs are met.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including conducting research and analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Requirements
A minimum of two years experience with NextGen Practice Management software, a minimum of two years of progressive professional experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, and proficiency in government and commercial insurance billing are required. You should also possess knowledge and understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes, medical terminology and procedures, coding, medical records, remittance codes, and reimbursement policies. In addition, experience working complex and high-dollar appeals is necessary. A High School diploma or general equivalency is necessary, along with good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet staffing needs. Certified Professional Coder certification is preferred.
