IT Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced IT Data Architect to join our team at Eversource Energy. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing data models that support business intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other business interests.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in data modeling concepts, methodologies, and best practices, as well as proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio. They will also have knowledge of relational databases and database design principles.

The estimated salary for this position is around $130,000 per year, depending on experience. Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program with benefits that include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and implement logical and physical data models for IT and business solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and align on data models.
• Develop entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), data flow diagrams, and other visualization tools to represent data models.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, or related field.
• At least three years of experience in data modeling, database design, or related field.
• Expert knowledge of data modeling concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work emergency restoration assignments as required.
• Must be available to travel between MA, CT, and NH as necessary.
