Chief Security Architect

The Senior Cybersecurity Architect will lead the development and implementation of security architecture to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Eversource systems. The role involves gathering requirements, assessing current systems, and updating the company on security architecture projects. Key responsibilities include designing security infrastructure, implementing security standards, and communicating with stakeholders.

Essential functions include creating reference architectures, providing security consulting, and staying updated on latest technologies. The role also involves working independently or collaboratively with other teams to deliver security solutions and educate customers on security practices.

Technical knowledge required includes strong IT and security technology expertise, experience with cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and understanding of disaster recovery solutions and resiliency hosting platforms. Proven experience with data access and protection models, encryption solutions, and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ITIL is preferred.

Leadership behaviors include setting direction, identifying problems, and taking responsibility for resolution. Communication skills are essential for building trusting relationships and managing difficult issues. Experience in managing people, developing skills, and fostering teamwork and cross-functional collaboration is also required.
