Position Overview:

As the Vice President of Total Rewards, your primary focus will be on the strategic development and implementation of our compensation, benefits, and recognition frameworks, alongside overseeing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). You will play a pivotal role in shaping our compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring they align with the core values of Help at Home. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to design and manage competitive reward programs that scale effectively. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader in compensation and benefits within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate and disseminate Help at Home's Total Rewards philosophy to support both immediate and long-term organizational goals.
  • Design and execute comprehensive compensation, equity, and benefits programs that drive business success and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Lead initiatives related to compensation and equity, including job architecture, salary benchmarking, and overall compensation analysis.
  • Ensure that our benefits offerings are innovative and compliant, meeting the diverse needs of our workforce across various markets.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure equitable pay practices and policies are upheld during hiring and talent assessments.
  • Oversee the HRIS, including the management of the Workday implementation process.
  • Develop variable compensation structures through effective incentive plans that align with both organizational and individual performance goals.
  • Manage external partnerships and projects related to Total Rewards.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through thoughtful compensation and benefits practices.
  • Establish effective communication strategies to enhance employee understanding of compensation and benefits programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Compensation and Total Rewards, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and managing Total Rewards programs within large, diverse organizations.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits administration, job evaluation, and salary structure design.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at the executive level.
  • Proven experience in team management and leading large-scale projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in HRIS, particularly in systems related to compensation and benefits administration, preferably Workday.
  • Ability to assess and recommend new tools for impactful improvements.
  • Excellent collaborative skills with a proactive approach to relationship-building across all organizational levels.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, demonstrating a commitment to serving the organization and its workforce.
  • A strong understanding of the significance of effective compensation and benefits programs in achieving long-term business objectives.
  • Robust business acumen, including proficiency in MS Excel and presentation skills for executive audiences.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make independent decisions effectively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
  • Travel may be required on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on business needs.
