SOF Logistics Expert

Job Summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a highly experienced SOF Logistics Expert to support a federal government client. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of logistics operations for special operations forces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of logistics operations for special operations forces.
  • Provide logistics planning support for SOCOM exercises, including requesting logistics support through the Air Support Requests (ASR) and requests for support (RFS) processes.
  • Liaise with external agencies to include joint and multinational logistics forces, U.S. Government logistics departments and agencies, Non-Governmental Organizations, private sector entities, federally funded and sponsored academia, local trade schools, and other organizations.
  • Support the course planning team with appropriate briefs relating to current SOF Logistics TTPs and T&R standards approved by HHQ.
  • Assist in the development of course curriculum and requirements (equipment/personnel), periods of instruction (POI), and training schedules.
  • Plan and organize initial, midway, and final planning conferences for course development.
  • Instruct classes as necessary.
  • Assist the MRSG T-Cell Logistics Planner SME as required in the development of scenario-based logistics training suited to evaluate the integration of logistics into a larger exercise in a SOF environment.
Requirements
  • 10 years SOF logistics experience (recent experience within past five years) in a Special Mission Unit (SMU); U.S. Army Special Forces; Navy SEALs; Marine Special Operations Command.
  • 3 years' experience providing logistics planning support for SOCOM exercises including requesting logistics support through the Air Support Requests (ASR) and requests for support (RFS) processes and strategic mobility planning, and embarkation.
  • Familiarity with course development.
