Warehouse Assistant Job Description

Converge Medical Technology is seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Warehouse Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing, organization, and storage of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and organize inventory to ensure accurate and timely shipment of medical devices
  • Package and prepare shipments for delivery to customers
  • Operate heavy machinery and drive equipment as required by job duties
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
  • Perform thorough inspections on vehicles and machinery to identify issues
  • Diagnose and repair durable medical equipment devices
  • Install software and complete setup for company-owned electronic devices
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to determine mechanical problems
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and specialized equipment

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Good written communication skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or related field preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand on feet for majority of a 6 hour day
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
