Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nexus Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide on-going medical management and acute interventions for patients in the post-acute care setting.

About the Position
  • Provide ongoing medical management and acute interventions for patients in the post-acute care setting, working directly with pediatric nurse practitioners within a group setting to provide direct patient care to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and rehab patients.
  • Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team to effectively designate processes for meeting the medical and psychosocial needs of the resident and providing updates and evaluating medical treatment plans, medications, and other necessary care.
  • Flexible schedule while doing what you love most, providing excellent care.

Nexus Children's Hospital in Dallas, Texas is a child's home away from home during recovery from complex medical issues following an acquired or traumatic brain injury, acute illness, chronic disease, or any other life-altering event.

Working with patients from infancy to age 21 who may have been unsuccessful in traditional rehabilitation environments, our flexible admissions criteria allows us to treat a wide variety of diagnoses.

Qualifications
  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master's degree
  • Acute Care Certification Required
