Job SummaryThis is a unique opportunity to work in a 40-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a well-rounded team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Pediatric Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider experience and be able to work days or nights, including holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities- Routinely perform Lumbar Punctures, femoral central venous line placement, peripheral arterial line placement, intubation, and rarely pigtail chest tube insertion.
- Manage ventilators, including Servo ventilators, LTV, and Trilogy vents.
- Have an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification and an active or inactive TX State License.
Locums will be required to work 10 and 13 hour shifts, with some 12 hour shifts. Excellent hourly compensation is offered, dependent on experience, and includes malpractice insurance, lodging, travel, rental car/mileage, and more.
