Key Responsibilities

* Manage and design bridge projects from concept to completion
* Provide expert consultation on technical plans and systems
* Develop and maintain client relationships
* Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery
* Develop and implement plans, specifications, and observation reports
* Perform and/or check detailed design work and load rating calculations
* Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree preferred
* PE license required
* Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, preferably in bridge design and engineering
* Strong knowledge of design specifications, including AAHSTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation
* Experience with bridge/structural design software, such as OpenBridge Designer, LEAP Bridge, or RISA-3D/STAAD
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
