Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts maintenance and repairs on machinery, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
  • Performs upkeep and repairs on facility structures.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Experience: A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting documents, as well as writing routine reports.
  • Strong verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities (English-Spanish) are advantageous.
  • Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and interpreting graphs.
  • Demonstrates common sense in executing instructions and resolving issues.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle, reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl.
  • Must be able to lift up to 90 pounds and possess specific vision capabilities.
Work Environment
  • Regular exposure to heat, moving parts, and airborne particles.
  • Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, heights, and electrical hazards.
  • Work environment may include loud noise levels.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Interprets blueprints, conducts tests, and troubleshoots mechanical systems.
  • Dismantles, inspects, adjusts, repairs, and installs mechanical and structural components.
  • Utilizes machine tools, performing lathe, drill press, and grinder operations.
  • Initiates purchase orders, maintains repair documentation, and ensures cleanliness in the workshop.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and executes millwright duties.
