The Role

This position is responsible for performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on piston flight training aircraft.

The successful candidate will possess a strong focus on safety and quality, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations and manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting and completing required forms and computer entries.
  3. Follow all policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
  4. Perform job duties in a safe manner, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
  2. 2 or more years of piston-powered aircraft maintenance experience.
  3. Knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer manuals.
  4. Possess adequate tools.
  5. FAA Inspection Authorization.
  6. Private pilot's license.
  7. Avionics troubleshooting experience (Garmin integrated avionics).
