Our Behavioral Health team provides innovative, evidence-based services in behavioral healthcare settings co-located with physical health providers.

About the Job:

This position is for a full-time RN working as part of a behavioral health team.

Our team provides intensive services to adults with serious mental illness, including community-based and home-based services.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other team members and community partners to provide comprehensive services.

This position may also involve outreach, case management, skills training, groups, and other supportive services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with daily and weekly medication needs.
  • Medication management, coordination, and education.
  • Administering long-acting IM medication.
  • Performing health assessments and screenings.
  • Coordinating and consulting with medical staff, PCPs, other team members, and community partners.
  • Practicing nursing skills and principles relating to client care.
  • Demonstrating nursing practices as they relate to the needs of a community mental/behavioral health setting.
  • Applying knowledge and understanding of mental health concepts.
What You Will Bring:
  • Knowledge of or experience with mental health assessment, treatment, and service terminology.
  • Providing psychosocial skills development and implementing interventions prescribed on a treatment plan.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with community agencies, the general public, and other employees at all times.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
