Position Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Team Leader to oversee our account management team. This role involves guiding the team in production oversight, performance management, and the allocation of account responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks effectively within the team.
  • Supervise team members' time management, including PTO oversight.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for team development.
  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new team members.
  • Participate in necessary internal meetings.
  • Facilitate monthly team meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Monitor team performance reports and ensure follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial business accounts.
  • Maintain an active P&C License and enhance insurance knowledge through ongoing education.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an active P&C license and have at least five years of experience in commercial insurance, along with the following skills:
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Applied Epic.
  • Previous supervisory roles.
  • Familiarity with insurance software.
  • Relevant industry designations.
